Yes, the race was crowded and zany, but all of your comments above were spot on for me. I thought the race (I did the Half) was a total blast too. In fact, having done three of these events, they just keep on improving. BTW, totally love this site (just recently found it, and I'm in Centennial Hills so I can relate to your vibe). I had food poisioning or something the entire weekend so I was pretty miserable and I didn't realize how much the crowding would affect my aspirations for a new PR. Although I put up my worst time ever - it is race #2 in my quest for Half Fanatic status with 3 in 90 days so I'm focusing on that.
